Hot Enough To Cook An Egg

These past few days have been grossly HOT in New York with temps reaching a scorching 100 degrees!

Add that 100 degree heat +  a house built in 1871 with no central air and you have one sweaty  family!

To test out the “Is it  hot enough to cook an egg theory” I went out to the street and cracked an egg.

While It did not immediately cook… It was a nice little -Al dente” fried egg in about 7 mins.

So Yes folks it was really THAT hot in New York this week!
